With the Coronavirus pandemic in our rearview mirror, concerts, sporting events, multi-day festivals and other stadium events are back in full swing and bigger than ever before. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, for example, has become a cultural phenomenon, making fans pay a small fortune to snag any ticket they can find. If you’re planning on attending a Swift concert during the second North American leg of the tour, curating an epic outfit is half the fun.
As fans know, the Eras Tour is unique in that songs from every album will be played, inspiring fans to dress up to match their favorite albums. The best way to tie in your outfit and hold all of your essentials? A stadium-approved clear bag, of course.
While certain venues are more strict than others, incorporating a clear stadium bag into your wardrobe is never a bad idea if you like going to stadium events on the regular.
And it’s not just the Eras tour that you’ll need a clear bag for. The NFL season kicks off in just a few short weeks and for the last few seasons, all stadiums follow a clear bag policy. If you’re planning on attending an NFL game this season, you’ll need one of these.
From crossbody bags, totes, belt bags, backpacks — whatever your bag preference, we found a clear version for you to shop below. Whether you’re looking for something high-end from Tory Burch, a budget-friendly pick from Amazon (for as low as $7!) or even a personalized option, our list includes an option for every type of music-loving or sports fan to pass through the security check line easily and quickly.

At less than $10 regularly priced, you’ll get so much value from this small investment. Trust me, if you go to a lot of events, this is the bag you want. I’ve brought it to multiple concerts and sporting events since buying it last year and haven’t thought about replacing it once.

As you can see in the picture above, this bag did go to the Eras Tour with me. In fact, I incorporated it into my “Lover”-era outfit in place of a real belt. As someone who is plus size, the length of adjustable straps is important to me, so I was thrilled that I could wear it around my waist with some room to spare. Plus, as you can see, it fits a whole lot: my phone, a portable charger, Loop earplugs, a bag full of friendship bracelets, a lip oil, and a card wallet.
Size: 11 x 6.5 x 5.9 inches | Strap length: adjustable from 19 inches to 47 inches

Cons:
If you prefer a tote bag to other styles, never fear: there are clear tote bags (fully stadium-compliant) available to shop, including this one from Amazon with over 25,000 reviews.
Customers are saying: “I recently purchased this clear bag and I’m really happy with my choice. The bag’s transparent design is not only trendy but also incredibly practical, especially for events and places with strict security policies. The material is sturdy and seems quite durable, holding up well even with frequent use. One of the best features is the ample storage space. It’s surprisingly spacious and can fit all my essentials like my phone, wallet, and a few personal items without any issues. The adjustable strap makes it comfortable to carry, whether over the shoulder or crossbody.”
Size: 12 x 12 x 6 inches | Colors: 12 (black, burgundy, rainbow, dusty blue, boho arrow, fuchsia, green, gray, matcha green, navy, red, royal blue)

If you’re looking for a clear concert bag, here’s another good option. lululemon’s cult favorite belt bag (the one that arguably brought the belt bag back) was recently released in a clear, stadium-approved variant, so if you don’t leave your house without that one, this is a perfect alternative when you need a see-through bag.
Customers are saying: “I needed a clear belt bag to get into concerts and sporting events. I chose the lululemon belt bag because of its quality design and ability to wear it across my shoulder. I’m pleased with it and haven’t had an issue with getting into events since I got the belt bag.”
Size: 7.5 x 2 x 5.1 inches | Colors: 2 (white, black)

Pros:
Cons:
If a crossbody bag isn’t quite big enough for your essentials, clear mini backpacks made within the stadium-approved sizing are available (though we do recommend double-checking the venue’s policy as some don’t allow backpacks even if they are within the approved sizing).
Customers are saying: “Perfect size for allowed use in baseball parks. We have been to several different venues and we have had no problem entering. The bag is plastic but it’s a heavy plastic and seems to be holding up well.”
Size: 12 x 10.5 x 6 inches | Colors: 10 (black, blue, green, gray, navy, orange, pink, red, white, yellow)

Pros:
Cons:
Sometimes, the smallest bags are the ones that work best. If you travel light and don’t need more than your phone and a few cards to get through the day, consider this option from Walmart.
Size: 5.2 x 2 x 7.5 inches | Strap length: adjustable from 49.8 to 54.7 inches

Pros:
Cons:
If you can be found at the football stadium on weekends in the fall, this crossbody/belt bag makes an excellent choice. There’s a variant available for every NFL team, so no matter who you support, you can rep your favorite and comply with stadium bag standards.
Customers are saying: “I’m so excited for football season so I can take this Miami Dolphins belt bag to football games. It’s super cute and it’s the perfect size to fit all my stuff, plus it’s clear so I can take it into the stadium. The belt part is a stretchy elastic and is easily adjustable so it works well if you want to wear it [as a] crossbody. Definitely recommend for all the football fans out there!!”
Size: 7.5 x 4.75 x 2.0 inches | Strap length: adjustable up to 44 inches | Colors: 36 (one for every NFL team + four solid color options)

Pros:
Cons:
This sling bag is a cross between a belt bag and a crossbody: it’s roomier than your typical belt bag but best worn like a crossbody.
Size: 6.5 x 10 x 2 inches | Colors: 5 (bronze, mustard, orange, silver, white)

Pros:
Cons:
Every component of this crossbody from Mark and Graham is customizable to your preferences. First, pick a bag color. From there, you can add an embossed monogram in gold or silver and choose from a variety of strap colors and materials.
Size: 8.5 x 2.5 x 6 inches | Strap length: 45 to 52 inches | Colors: 6 (cobalt, red, white, black, navy, camel)

Pros:
Cons:
If you’re in your “Lover” era, there’s no better bag than this one to bring to the Eras tour with you. Heart-shaped but still clear, it’s big enough to hold all of your essentials, from your phone to a plethora of friendship bracelets.
Size: 7.9 x 7 x 3 inches | Strap length: adjustable from 42 to 46.5 inches | Colors: 2 (flamingo, silver metallic)
Although every venue and event has different regulations, NFL’s All Clear Policy are generally the rules that most events and stadiums go with. The policy allows bags made out of clear plastic, vinyl or PVC that are no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches.
In addition, ticket-goers can bring one small clutch bag or purse, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
One clear bag per person and one small clutch purse per person are allowed.
The main disadvantage to using a clear backpack or bag is the obvious one: everything in your bag will be visible to whoever sees it.
It really depends on your preference, but if you’re planning on attending an event at a stadium, a clear backpack will be the only kind allowed inside.
