And then: they didn’t. They choked. Boston burnt out, in front of thousands of their own adoring fans. Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Caleb Martin (in a surprise star turn), and the rest of the Heat demolished the Celtics, 103-84, becoming only the second-ever eight-seeded team to make it to the NBA Finals.
