The argument that is not in favor of consumers spending big on Prime Day, according to Mazor, is that the impacts of the economic slowdown and inflation have taken such a deep toll on US consumers, that they may hold out on spending during Amazon Prime Day 2023. “The event may prove itself to be dry due to the macroeconomic environment,” he offers.
