Ben Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, enjoyed a seemingly pleasant exchange while celebrating their son, Samuel’s 12th birthday Tuesday.
The “Argo” actor and Garner, both 51, were photographed laughing and chatting outside of Samuel’s school in Los Angeles — showcasing their stellar co-parenting relationship.
For the outing, Affleck — who grinned effortlessly while interacting with Garner — looked stylish in a dapper black peacoat, black zip-up, gray jeans and Nike basketball sneakers.
And, of course, in true Affleck fashion, he palmed his signature Dunkin’ iced coffee.
On the other hand, the “13 Going on 30” actress also appeared relaxed and cheerful while dressed in a chic gray blazer layered over a blue button-down and straight-leg, cropped, blue jeans.
She completed the look with black ballet flats, thick-framed glasses and a claw clip to hold her hair up.
At one point, the “Alias” alum carried a tray of delicious baked goods for Sam to enjoy with his classmates as they celebrated his birthday.
Despite ending their 13-year marriage in 2018, the former couple has maintained a very friendly co-parenting arrangement over their son and daughters, Violet Anne, 18, and Seraphina Rose, 15.
In 2021, Affleck went on to rekindle his early 2000s romance with Jennifer Lopez, and a year later, they tied the knot in Las Vegas.

The two blended their families, adding Lopez’s 16-year-old twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, Max and Emme, to the mix.

The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” hitmaker also gushed about Affleck’s parenting skills during an appearance on “The View” in May 2023.
“Oh, my God. He’s an amazing dad. It brings tears to my eyes,” she said at the time. “He is honestly the best dad I’ve ever seen.”
