Another Below Deck wedding is on the horizon, but one captain has been noticeably snubbed from the guest list.

Aesha Scott, who’s set to wed her fiancé Scott Dobson in March 2026, revealed on Monday night’s (Sept. 29) episode of Watch What Happens Live that Below Deck Down Under Captain Jason Chambers was not invited to celebrate her nuptials, despite working as his chief stew for two seasons of the hit Bravo show.

“No, Jason’s not coming,” she told host Andy Cohen. “We can only bring 130 people. It’s been tough.”

Scott continued, “We can’t bring everyone with us and [Captain Sandy Yawn] has been in my life a lot longer, so Sandy trumped [Jason],” noting that she also decided to leave Chambers off the invite list out of respect for her soon-to-be husband.

She explained, “I also don’t think it’s respectful because so many people would come up to me and be like, ‘Oh, we like Scott, but we really wish you were with Jason.’”

Scott began her television career on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 4 and Season 5, working under Yawn as a second stew. She later became the chief stew on Below Deck Down Under Season 1 and Season 2, both of which were captained by Chambers, before returning to Below Deck Med for Seasons 9 and 10, which began airing Monday night.

Yawn, however, isn’t the only one from the Below Deck universe who will be attending Scott’s wedding in a few months.

“Hannah [Ferrier] and her husband are coming, Anastasia [Surmava] and her husband, Sandy and Leah, and Nathan [Gallagher] and Gael [Cameron],” Scott revealed. “A lot of people on the backend, too — on the production end.” But no Chambers!

As for the wedding planning, Scott said it was a breeze. “I don’t understand why people get so stressed, maybe because I’m a chief stew. You just sit down and email people and say, ‘Hey, can you do my wedding?’ And they just say yes or no,” she said. “I’m very simple. Noodles and curry, that’s all I need.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
