Fans of The Summer I Turned Pretty who took issue with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) proposing to Belly (Lola Tung) without a ring in Season 3, Episode 2 got a surprise do-over in Season 3, Episode 3. Now that a more traditional, thought-out, down on one knee proposal is done, Belly’s engagement ring is the talk of the town!

TSITP Season 3, Episode 3 kicked off with Jeremiah putting on a mysterious pair of glasses we’ve never seen him wear, getting down on one knee in his dorm room, and asking a surprised Belly to spend forever with him. Again! Belly confidently accepted the second proposal, and the two started celebrating. But now, TSITP fans are divided.

Because Jeremiah used his own money to buy Belly’s ring rather than ask his dad for help, there’s no denying the crucial piece of jewelry is small. Some fans couldn’t help but poke fun at the size of the ring, while others argued that a modest ring perfectly fits Belly’s personality. And some viewers were too busy wondering if they could buy Belly’s ring for themselves to weigh in. The answer, for those curious, is yes!

Wondering what TSITP fan response has been to Belly’s ring? Want to know the story behind the ring? How TSITP collaborated with Catbird to bring Belly’s ring to screen? Where you can buy Belly’s engagement ring for yourself? And how much Belly’s ring costs? Decider’s got answers. Here’s everything to know about Belly’s engagement ring.

Before we dive into the ring deets, let’s take a look at what fans had to say about the delicate hardware Jere picked out for Belly. As noted, a number of fans couldn’t get past the size of the ring and went so far as to joke that Jeremiah had to put his glasses on to see the small diamond. During the episode, Belly’s bestie Taylor even asked if the ring featured a diamond or a sliver of tinfoil. Savage.

On the other hand, fans defended Jeremiah’s choice, arguing that Belly is a “Paper Rings” kind of girl, not a materialist. In their minds, she would love the simple, modest ring. And they don’t think Jeremiah should be knocked for choosing an affordable option as a college student — one that doesn’t require him borrowing money from anyone. To some, the intention behind the gesture is what matters most, not the size.

Love Belly’s engagement ring or hate it, you’ll likely want to know where to buy it and how much it costs. So here’s everything to know about Belly’s ring on The Summer I Turned Pretty.

According to Elle, Belly’s engagement ring on TSITP is The Diamond Fizz Ring from Catbird.

“A sparkling, fizzy, effervescent diamond set in gold. Lifted ever so gently to stack perfectly, or to sit nearly flush against the finger if worn on its own. The Diamond Fizz is the perfect finishing touch. Like seltzer, but a diamond!” the description reads. Per Catbird, the ring was also made in the company’s Brooklyn studio with 100% recycled solid 14k gold and recycled (.089-carat) diamonds. We stan sustainability!

When speaking with Elle, Catbird’s chief creative officer Leigh Batnick Plessner explained, “Something that we always think about with our jewelry is this idea of how different people wear it, how it can shape-shift to suit your style, both in the moment and over time. Or this idea of maybe one day a child finding a ring in their parents’ jewelry box and fitting it into their lives. So I think it suits young love because it’s so wearable and it can grow with you over time, and it can always suit whatever evolution of your personal style you might be in.”

As for how the ring found its way on TSITP, Elle reports that Plessner received an Instagram DM from Carol Lim, a co-founder of Opening Ceremony and close friend of Jenny Han. “We started to talk about the idea of a collection and a collaboration, and we have some really massive Summer I Turned Pretty fans on our team as well, so everyone was really excited,” Plessner said.

So how much did the ring cost? Currently, The Diamond Fizz Ring is listed at $298.00 on Catbird’s website. But if you’re looking for something a bit more affordable, a petite version of. the Diamond Fizz Ring is priced at $168.
