A bedridden 10-year-old boy with a feeding tube apparently starved to death after his troubled mother — who faced several city Administration for Children’s Services cases — fatally overdosed in their Bronx apartment, leaving him alone without help, sources said.
The pair’s decomposing bodies were found late Wednesday by NYPD officers responding to a complaint about a foul odor emanating from an apartment inside the Marble Hill NYCHA complex along Broadway, authorities said.

Law enforcement sources told The Post it preliminarily appeared the boy’s mother, 39, died of a drug overdose.
The special needs boy, who was on a feeding tube and appeared to be bedridden, potentially starved because no one could take care of him, sources said.
The woman had several ACS cases against her for drug use and neglect, including at least one in which officials took the boy away from her, sources said.
ACS workers had returned the boy to the woman’s care, according to sources.
Representatives for ACS didn’t immediately return The Post’s request for comment.
