“Below Deck Sailing Yacht” star Gary King has his eye on “Southern Charm” beauty Taylor Ann Green after a flirty interaction at BravoCon 2022. 

“I slid into her DMs and we chat every now and then,” he reveals on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “She seems like a really, really cool girl.”

King, 31, says he isn’t a “Southern Charm” viewer and didn’t know Green, 28, from the hit reality show. 

However, he was immediately taken with her after spotting her at the three-day fandom event at New York City’s Javits Center in October 2022. 

“I’ve never seen the show in my life. I didn’t even know what it was about to be honest,” he explains.

“It’s just because we were in BravoCon together and I think she caught me eyeing her out a little bit from a distance and when I slid into her DMs, she actually mentioned that.”

Divulging part of their initial social media exchange, King elaborates, “She was like, ‘Ooh, I saw you looking at me. Why didn’t you come and say hi?’”

The typically outgoing first mate admits that he was “too nervous” to say hello, noting that the presence of Green’s ex-boyfriend Shep Rose didn’t help . (The two reportedly split in the summer of 2022, but hung out months later at BravoCon.)

“I was shy … to go over and say hi. Also because she was bombarded by that very tall guy who I thought was her boyfriend, who I believe was previously,” he says, referring to Rose, 43.

“And he’s intimidating. I’m not the tallest. I’m like 5-foot-8, 5-foot-9 and he’s like 6-foot-6, so he towers over me like the Eiffel Tower.”

King says he is still “shooting [himself] in the foot” for not making a move, but is optimistic that he and Green can connect down the line — possibly at BravoCon 2023, set to take place Nov. 3-5 in Las Vegas. 

“Hopefully in the future it can happen,” he tells us. “I love her outlook on life. I like how easygoing she is and it doesn’t seem like she takes anything too seriously.”

Page Six exclusively reported last month that Green hooked up with Rose’s best friend and “Southern Charm” castmate, Austin Kroll, “at the start” of the upcoming season. 

“Taylor has almost gone through the whole cast, minus Craig,” one source told us, referring to Kroll’s pal Craig Conover, who is in a relationship with “Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo.

Meanwhile, King’s messy love triangle with “BDSY” co-stars Daisy Keliher and Colin MacRae will play out on Season 4 of their unscripted series. 

“Seeing someone that you feel you’ve got a connection with hook up with someone else is not a nice feeling,” he says, acknowledging a passing feeling of “jealousy.”

King, who has since come to accept Keliher’s feelings for MacRae, adds, “Daisy can do whatever she wants … They make a cute couple.”
