Ahead of Tuesday’s announcement of the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame class, The Post’s voters revealed their ballots — and the results bode well for three players.
All 10 of The Post’s voters checked the box for CC Sabathia and Ichiro, and nine of 10 selected Carlos Beltran, meaning those three eclipse the 75 percent threshold (on this small sample size) for enshrinement in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Former Mets closer Billy Wagner, in his final year on the ballot, received votes from seven of 10 Post voters, meaning he would narrowly miss out.
Alex Rodriguez received three votes from Post writers.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Ryan Thibodaux’s Hall of Fame ballot tracker had Ichiro, Sabathia, Wagner and Beltran all getting enough votes for enshrinement.
