Life in this theater was not fantastic.
A post on social media showing “Barbie” moviegoers berating an inconsiderate parent who allegedly let her child watch YouTube videos throughout the screening of the hotly-anticipated film has gone viral.
The clip, posted Monday by TikTok user Sophia Ferreira, shows a pink-dressed fan angrily accosting the offending mom as closing credits roll.
Things begin to escalate when the woman shoves her accuser into the seats — and promptly falls down.
After springing back into action, she then attacks the other lady with a shoe — until two men manage to separate the worked-up women and one is escorted away.
“I went to watch the Barbie movie and this happened,” reads the onscreen text.
Since being posted, the video has gained nearly 126,000 views.
Viewers took to the comment section to Monday morning quarterback the match-up.
“She lucky she confronted her at the end, cuz I would’ve went out and got a manager to escort her out,” slammed one TikTok user.
“The worst thing is to see others laughing without helping the girl,” said a second person.
Sever other comments laughed at the calming, downtempo music that was playing as the fight raged between the two women.
“Barbie” has given rise to the pink-forward fashion trend called “Barbiecore.”
“They fighting to the sound of Billie [Eilish],” said one person.
“These post-credits scenes are better than marvel’s,” laughed another.
“The music is very soft,” giggled one more commentator.
The film, directed by Greta Gerwig, was released last weekend and immediately soared to the top slot of the US box office raking in $22.2 million in preview ticket sales on Thursday, followed by another $48.2 million during the movie’s actual debut on Friday.
The Post’s Johnny Oleksinski called the flick ” a smug tale that doesn’t boast a single sympathetic character.”
Aussie actor Margot Robbie plays the titular character in the movie, which also features several other high-profile actors including Ryan Gosling as one of many Kens, Will Farrell, Kate McKinnon and Dua Lipa.
Several AMC theaters have faced backlash after offering a $65 popcorn bucket in the shape of a Barbie car.
“Hop in and zoom around Barbie Land!” reads the description of the exclusive convertible, which acts as a popcorn vessel. “This collectible Barbie car popcorn container recreates the iconic pink Corvette seen in Barbie The Movie.”
“With a curvy silhouette and retro trims, the vintage-inspired convertible is a piece of art on four wheels!” it continued.
Several Twitter users said they “cannot justify purchasing this.”
