A baby-faced suspect allegedly shot an MTA train conductor in the face with a BB gun at a Bronx subway station last week, police announced Monday.
The boy, who police estimated was between 12 and 14 years old, allegedly fired the BB gun at the transit worker on June 6 around 4:30 p.m. when she poked her head out of a southbound 6 train for a safety check.
The conductor was struck in the face by one round at the 138th Street and 3rd Avenue station and was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, police said.
The young suspect fled the station and was still being sought early Tuesday.
He was last seen wearing a camouflage sweatshirt, dark pants, dark sandals and wearing a backpack, the NYPD said.
The department released a photo and video of the boy they’re pursuing.
Last month, a 16-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly shooting an MTA subway conductor in the face with a Gel Blaster pellet gun inside the Borough Hall Station in Brooklyn.
