NextImg:Ayesha Curry responds after awkward Drake moment goes viral

Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry had the last laugh after their night out at Drake’s concert stirred some social media buzz.

The Golden State Warriors superstar and the cookbook author attended Drake’s show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Monday, where they shared a moment with the rapper on stage — and were captured by cameras throughout the night.

During the concert, Drake gave a shoutout to the beloved NBA couple, who attended the show with Curry’s mother Sonya, his sister, Sydel, and her husband, Phoenix Suns guard Damion Lee.

“They say we look alike,” Drake said, referring to Steph, who smiled and caressed his beard.

“Make some noise for my brother Steph Curry.”

After a momentary pause, Drake shouted to Ayesha, who shook her head in response to the intro.

“And, of course, the lovely Ayesha Curry and momma bear, you know,” the rapper added, referring Sonya.

Ayesha’s mild reaction is all it took for some on social media to run wild — and she noticed.

“He thinks y’all are weird TBH,” Ayesha wrote on Instagram, seemingly responding to the bizarre comments.

The lifestyle entrepreneur, who was in New York City for the launch of her new Sweet July Skin line, include a photo of her laughing, while Curry posed with a curious look on his face backstage at Barclays Center.

Even new Sixers guard Patrick Beverley joined the chat.

“Ayesha Curry doesn’t see the resemblance,” he wrote on his “Pat Bev Pod” Twitter account.

Other users claimed Ayesha looked “uninterested” in Curry while he was singing Drake’s song, “Too Good” in her ear.
