Stormfront actress Aya Cash is revving up for another installment of The Boys and has provided fans with an exciting Vought Rising update for fans.

Although the actress says she doesn’t “actually know yet” when The Boys spin-off will begin filming, she has read the first two episodes of the prequel to the comic book adaptation on Prime Video.

“I’ve read two scripts and they’re absolutely insanely good. But that’s about all I can tell you,” Cash told ComicBook while discussing her new superhero genre satire series The Franchise which premieres Sunday on Max.

Prime Video ordered The Boys spin-off series Vought Rising back in July, shortly before Cash and co-star Jensen Ackles revealed the news at Comic-Con.

Showrunner Paul Grellong and executive producer Eric Kripke described the prequel as “a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy (Ackles), and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront (Cash), who was then going by the name Clara Vought.”

“We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V,” they added.

Stormfront’s arc occurred in Season 2 of The Boys, while Soldier Boy was introduced in Season 3. According to the storyline, Soldier Boy was created by Frederick Vought during World War II and is the first American non-aging Supe.

Stormfront was Frederick Vought’s first successful test subject for Compound V and she married him before they moved to the US.

The next installment of The Boys will be its fifth and final season, meanwhile, Prime will also continue its animated spin-off The Boys Presents: Diabolical and the college-based Gen V.

Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal are working as executive producers on The Boys: Mexico, from Blue Beetle writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer.
