Another friend from Ashton Kutcher‘s past is coming back to bite him.

A resurfaced clip from his 2019 Hot Ones interview showed the That ’70s Show actor struggling to answer Sean Evans‘ question about whether he has any anecdotes from Diddy‘s parties that he could share.

“I’ve got a lot I can’t tell,” Kutcher replied. He then paused as he appeared to rack his brain for a story that he could share. “Can’t tell that one either. … I’m actually cycling through them. Diddy party stories, man, that was some weird memory lane thing.”

Diddy’s infamous parties of the aughts have recently come under question after the music mogul was indicted for racketeering, sex trafficking and kidnapping. The grand jury indictment includes concerning descriptions of his “Freak Offs,” noting that he allegedly subjected victims to “physical, emotional, and verbal abuse” to coerce them into participating.

Though he couldn’t share any stories from their partying days during his Hot Ones appearance, Kutcher did shed some light on his “really bizarre” friendship with Diddy.

“It started over Punk’d because he was like, ‘Yo, you can’t punk me!’ I was like, ‘I don’t know what to tell you, everybody is on the table,’” he recalled, referring to the 2003 prank show Kutcher hosted on MTV. “That started our conversation. We became fast friends and we used to just hang out, watch football together.”

He also shared an anecdote from the time he “skunked” Diddy during a run when they were surrounded by paparazzi.

“Halfway through the run, he goes, ‘Yo, I’m running out of gas right now,’” Kutcher said. “But we had paparazzi all around us at the time. He’s like, ‘You gotta slow down but make it look like you’re not slowing down because I don’t want to look like I’m not going to be able to finish this thing.’ He was losing it.”

He added that Diddy was “so upset over the fact that he got skunked on this run” but it inspired him to train for the New York Marathon. “He just can’t lose,” Kutcher said. “Even when he’s that close to humility, it becomes a driver and then he ran the New York Marathon.”

The interview resurfaced exactly a year after Kutcher and his wife, actress Mila Kunis, penned letters in support of Danny Masterson during his rape trial. The actors called Masterson a “role model” and praised his “exceptional character” as they asked the judge for leniency in Masterson’s sentencing.

Their That ’70s Show co-star was ultimately sentenced to 30 years to life in prison on two counts of forcible rape.

They later issued an apology after facing backlash from fans. Kutcher also later resigned from his anti-sex abuse organization.

But Kutcher is certainly not the only celebrity who has attended Diddy’s parties over the years.

A resurfaced clip from a 2014 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians shows Khloe Kardashian also remaining rather tight-lipped about what went on at the party she attended. However, she did confess that “half the people were butt-naked.”
