Days of our Lives star Arianne Zucker is suing the production company behind the soap opera, alleging they turned a blind eye to multiple complaints of sexual harassment made against former executive producer Albert Alarr.

TMZ outlined the details of the lawsuit, which also names current EP Ken Corday and Corday Production Inc. In it, Zucker claims Alarr would regularly touch her and make sexual remarks towards her and her colleagues while filming.

She alleged that he made “sexually suggestive remarks” when she had to film sex scenes, such as telling her co-stars that he would “love to switch positions” with them. She also claimed that he would frequently pull her close to his chest while making “sexual moans” while he still worked on the show.

Though the report does not detail other instances of harassment her fellow colleagues faced, the lawsuit alleges that the production company was well aware of Alarr’s behavior. TMZ reports the company is accused of doing “nothing” despite “multiple women” coming forward over the years.

Zucker met with the HR department regarding her complaints multiple times between March and June 2023, during which Alarr was allowed to continue working on the show. The actress said she felt “violated and intimidated” while working with him.

The actress claimed she has essentially been fired from the show since her old contract expired in December. She claims the production company refused to negotiate in “good faith” when her contract was expiring last fall.

Alarr was later ousted from the job in August 2023 after the cast signed a petition calling for his removal, which stated, “Many of us have either been physically or verbally violated by him, including witnessing those objectionable and offensive actions.”

The petition came after Alarr was allowed to continue working on the show, despite the fact that an internal investigation found multiple instances of misconduct. Despite the allegations, Alarr was given a written warning and asked to undergo training after he had a meeting with Sony HR.

Zucker is seeking unspecified damages.
