Ariana Madix is taking her talents from Bravo to Broadway! The Vanderpump Rules star, who just earned a third place title on Season 32 of Dancing with the Stars, stopped by Live with Kelly and Mark this morning, where co-host Mark Consuelos asked the reality TV star about her origin story.

“So after college, when you were in Florida, you moved to New York with dreams of being on Broadway,” he shared. “Those were your plans?”

Kelly Ripa chimed in to ask, “You have a degree in theater?”

Madix confirmed that she does, noting that starring on Broadway was her “big dream as a kid.”

Ripa asked, “And do you think that dream will come true one day?”

With an eager smile on her face, Madix replied, “Well, I have some news,” ultimately revealing that “as of Jan. 29, [she] will be playing Roxie Hart on Broadway in Chicago.”

Ripa and Consuelos congratulated Madix as the audience erupted into applause.

“That’s incredible!” Ripa exclaimed. “That’s the best show!”

Meanwhile, Madix couldn’t contain her excitement.

“It is just the biggest dream come true,” she gushed. “I cannot believe that this is real life. I’m gonna cry!”

According to People, the Broadway show’s official Instagram account shared the announcement this morning, saying they’re “Vander-pumped” for her to join the cast.

Madix also promoted her new book Single AF Cocktails: Drinks for Bad B*tches, explaining that her inspiration to create it came from previously releasing another cocktail book with “another co-author”— her estranged ex, Tom Sandoval.

“I wanted to do my own, standing on my own,” she shared. “I wanted to stake my claim in the cocktail world on my own.”

In other performance news, Ripa and Consuelos asked Madix to weigh in on their Halloween Scandoval impersonation, in which Consuelos donned an ever-growing mustache to portray Sandoval in a recreation of he and Madix’s “very public break-up.”

Madix told them, “I think you guys nailed it. The ever-growing mustache had me dying! I could not stop laughing.”

Ripa claimed they were “still unclear” how well they pulled off the bit, but Madix reiterated that they “nailed it.” While Consuelos deemed her a “good sport,” Ripa clarified that they “don’t like to make light of everything [Madix has] been through.”

“But we just needed content for our Halloween show,” she quipped.
