Argentina is quoting rival Kendrick Lamar to drag down Drake.
The Canadian rapper bet $300,000 for a potential $2.88 million payout that his country would beat the defending Copa America and World Cup champions in a Copa América semifinal matchup Tuesday night.
But after Messi and Co. decimated Canada, 2-0, the national team’s X account mocked Drake’s outlandish bet.
“Not like us, not with us,” the account captioned the tweet, along with a photo of the team celebrating with “Not Like Us” written above the group hug.
“Not Like Us” is the title of a diss track released by Kendrick Lamar in May, which aimed to burn and embarrass Drake.
The song has amassed 115 million views on Lamar’s YouTube page and has been streamed nearly half a billion times on Spotify.
Maybe Drake thought Canada would have a chance after Argentina barely squeezed by Ecuador in the quarterfinals in a game that was decided in penalties.
Whatever the reason was, Drake was sadly mistaken.
The win put Argentina into its fourth Copa final in five editions and showed how dangerous Messi still remains at 37 years old.
Throughout the game, Messi relied on his brilliant reading of the game alongside pinpoint passing to lead his team to victory, even as he is now far from one of the fastest players on the pitch.
His second goal of the game marked his 109th international tally through 186 appearances, per the Associated Press.
Argentina has been an overall powerhouse in the tournament, proving why they are the unanimous favorites.
They have tucked away eight goals through five matches while only conceding once.
Aregentina will play the winner of Uruguay-Colombia, who clash Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET, in the championship game Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
