College football has finally returned to save our Saturdays, but what about the pros?

The first Thursday night game of the season takes place on September 4 when the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys collide in a Week 1 NFC East showdown. After a special Friday night matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers on YouTube, Sunday Night Football returns with a battle between two Super Bowl hopefuls: Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills and Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens.

The first week of the NFL season concludes when the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears meet for a little Monday Night Football action.

We’re inching closer to the start of the NFL season, so what exactly does that mean for the preseason? Are there any preseason NFL games on today (August 31)? Here’s everything you need to know.

Nope. Unfortunately, there are no Sunday NFL games on today, but there are two college football games to enjoy:

Sadly, no. The first Sunday Night Football game of the regular season takes place September 7 at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock when the Buffalo Bills host the Baltimore Ravens.

Yep. The next NFL game will be the first matchup of the regular season, which takes place Thursday, September 4 when the Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys on NBC and Peacock.

Nope. There is, however, a college football game between TCU and North Carolina at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPNU.
