NextImg:Are ‘The Grinch’ and ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ Streaming? How To Watch These Seasonal Favorites Online and TV

More On:

christmas

Dr. Seuss’ beloved 1966 special How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a rewatchable Christmas staple. Directed by Chuck Jones, the 25-minute classic centers on, you guessed it, the Grinch, an infamous scallywag who attempts to ruin the merriment of the holidays for the residents of Whoville by, as the title suggests, literally stealing Christmas.

Not cool, Grinch. Not. Cool.

This year, both the original TV special and 2018’s Benedict Cumberbatch-led film The Grinch will air on television (more on that below), but where can you stream the movies online? Great question. Sadly, the films aren’t currently available on Netflix or Hulu, but you’ll be able to watch both of these fan favorites on a different platform.

Where can you watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas? Here’s everything you need to know.

Nope. Unfortunately, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966), The Grinch (2018), and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) aren’t currently streaming on Netflix or Hulu.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is currently streaming on Peacock! The streamer also offers the 2018 Benedict Cumberbatch-led version of The Grinch.

Additionally, the 1966 version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas is also streaming on the TBS website.

Yes! How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966) will air Saturday, November 30 at 3:00 p.m. ET on Bravo. The 2018 version of The Grinch airs Friday, November 29 at 1:00 a.m. ET and 9:00 a.m. ET on FX.

The December schedule has yet to be released, but you can check TV Guide for additional airings.

Sadly, the Jim Carrey-led film isn’t currently streaming for free online. You can, however, rent the movie on YouTube, Google Play, Fandango, Apple TV, and Amazon.
