It’s not the holiday season without a visit from our little green friend the Grinch. Is he as “cuddly as a cactus” and as “charming as an eel”? Sure. Absolutely. But Dr. Seuss’ beloved 1966 special is a rewatchable Christmas staple.
This year, both the original TV special How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and Ron Howard’s Jim Carrey-led film of the same name will air on television (more on that below), but where can you stream the movies? Great question. Sadly, the films aren’t currently available on Netflix or Hulu, but you’ll be able to watch both of these fan favorites online.
Where can you watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas? Here’s everything you need to know.
Nope. Unfortunately, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas aren’t currently streaming on Netflix or Hulu.
Good news! How the Grinch Stole Christmas is currently streaming on Peacock! The streamer also offers NBC’s 2020 Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Musical! and the 2018 Benedict Cumberbatch-led version of The Grinch.
Additionally, the film is streaming on the TBS website (you’ll need a cable login), and you can rent the movie on Prime Video.
Yes! The 26-minute movie will air Thursday, November 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET and December 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Jim Carrey-led 2000 film was previously streaming on HBO Max, but, unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. The movie will, however, air Monday, December 25 at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas will also be available on Peacock between December 20 and December 31.
Finally, you can rent the film on Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play, or YouTube.
