NextImg:Antonio Brown goes on bizarre tweet storm after attempted murder charge revealed

Antonio Brown posted a handful of curious messages Friday on X, hours after it was revealed Miami-Dade County police are seeking his arrest on an attempted murder charge concerning a shooting that transpired last month outside of a boxing event in South Florida.

The controversial wideout, who last played in the NFL in 2022, posted a video riding a bicycle with the hashtag, “lovefromthemidleeast.”

In a follow-up post, Brown is seen wearing gold boxing gloves while rocking a BC.Game tank, a nod to the betting platform.

“What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger,” the post’s caption read.

The posts were shared after a judge signed an arrest warrant on Wednesday for Brown.

The charge of attempted murder with a firearm is listed in the documents obtained by The Post.

The arrest warrant suggests a $10,000 bond for Brown and for the mercurial receiver to be placed under house arrest pending a trial.

Last month, Brown alleged he was jumped in an attempt to take his jewelry outside a Brand Risk boxing promotion hosted by streamer Adin Ross.

In footage of the ordeal that has continued to circulate online, a group of individuals can be seen storming Brown, who then fell to the ground before kicking someone in the the melee, according to a video posted to the @ONLYinDADE account on X May 17.

As the video transitions, loud bangs go off in the background as onlookers run for shelter. An individual behind the camera can be heard saying, “Shots is crazy.”

Several guests of the event alleged Brown was the shooter, according to the arrest warrant, although “at the time of detention, Brown was not armed.”

Two spent shell casings and an empty firearm holster were located by officers, per the warrant, which also indicated that “cell phone video obtained from social media showed” Brown “with the firearm in his hand.”

A separate social media clip posted in May featured Brown being led by a police officer, presumably in handcuffs.

Upon being “carted away by officers,” Brown “returned to the venue about 20 minutes later as a free man,” according to TMZ.

Brown addressed the incident that same day in a post on X.

“Regarding the boxing event that happened last night. I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me,” he began.

“Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.

“I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me. I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process.”

Brown began his NFL career with the Steelers, with whom he played from 2010-18.

He had brief stints with the Raiders and Patriots before linking up with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers during their Super Bowl run in 2020.

He exited a Bucs game early in January 2022 and was booted from the team.

Brown did not respond to The Post’s attempt to reach him Thursday night via the email listed on his social media account.
