Another busload of migrant families arrived at the Big Apple’s controversial makeshift tent city at Floyd Bennett Field on Monday — a day after dozens of asylum seekers were bused there but refused to stay.

Some of the more than two dozen arrivals on Monday showed similar distaste for the Brooklyn facility, as the Post observed at least one family of four jumping back on the coach and leaving shortly after showing up.

The two adult migrants could be shaking their heads repeatedly while speaking to multiple shelter staffers over a 10-minute span before leaving the site.

Employees at Floyd Bennett told The Post the family had requested to leave, though it wasn’t immediately clear why.

It comes after the first batch of migrants arrived at the isolated Floyd Bennett site on Sunday — only for some to jump back on the bus in a bid to try and return to their previous city-run shelters.

Those who chose to leave the tent city shelter had to sign release forms before getting back on the bus, officials said, adding they were not taken to another shelter.

Despite leaving, their spots at Floyd Bennett would still be available for them if they chose to return to the Big Apple’s migrant arrival center, officials said.

A total of 13 families had slept at the Floyd Bennett site overnight Sunday.

One of the families who opted not to stay the night told The Post they weren’t told where they were going before being bused out.

“I work in the Bronx. My kids go to school in the Bronx. For us to live out here is ridiculous,” the father said. “We’re going back.”

The federally-owned site, which is made up of four congregate sleeping dorms, is designed to cater for 2,000 migrants, including children.

It is one of the more than 200 sites set up by the city to cater for the relentless influx of migrants that have poured into the Big Apple since the asylum seeker crisis escalated in spring 2022.

“As we have said time and time again, more than 139,500 asylum seekers have moved through our intake system since the spring of 2022, all of whom have been offered vital services like shelter, food, medical care, casework support, legal assistance, social services, and more,” a City Hall spokesperson said.

“But, with more than 65,600 migrants still currently in our care, and thousands more continuing to arrive every week, we have used every possible corner of New York City and are quite simply out of good options to shelter migrants.”

The Floyd Bennett site has been marred by controversy ever since the city first inked a deal with the feds in August to house migrants there.

Dozens of lawmakers, including Democrats, tried to sue back in September to prevent the site from opening because they argued the land, which is a national parkland, is protected.

Then, the New York City Fire Department flagged safety concerns last month — including that fire hydrants were located too far from the site and mostly “not reliable,” according to a summary report.

Despite the red flags, city officials forged ahead with the opening, insisting at the time that the site would be safe.
