With its woven vegan leather construction and sleek silver hardware, the Maze looks strikingly similar to the padded version of the iconic Bottega Veneta Cassette Bag — but costs about 1/50th of the price. And hey, if it’s good enough for Andy Sachs, it’s good enough for us.
Plenty of other JW Pei styles are discounted during Prime Day too; Alix Earle recently carried the sleek Harlee Shoulder Bag, while Mindy Kaling, Selena Gomez and Joey King have all toted the bedazzled Abacus Bag.
Oprah Winfrey, meanwhile, featured the Aylin Canvas Phone Bag on her 2022 “Favorite Things” list, saying the hands-free style “makes life easier,” and Bethenny Frankel’s partial to the Lucia Classic Top Handbag, calling it an “insane” find that’s “giving Birkin.”

“Love everything about this bag — the size, the color, the hardware,” Richards gushed during an Amazon Live last year, calling the carryall a “must-have.”
And then there’s the Gabbi Bag, the style that made JW Pei a household name for fashion editors and celebrity stylists alike. Easily identified by its croissant-like shape and scrunched handle, the purse has popped up on the arms of Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid and Megan Fox (and those of multiple Page Six staffers, too).
