They got their wings.
WNBA star Angel Reese and Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee shut down the runway Wednesday at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York.
Reese modeled a sultry pink bra and panties set with a garter, festooned with flowers and a matching wrap while Lee stunned in a PINK crop top with blue boy shorts and a pink wrap.
Reese, the two-time Chicago Sky All-Star, was announced as the lingerie brand’s first professional athlete angel last week.
Reese, 23, said it was “a dream” of hers to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, adding that she manifested the opportunity in a November 2024 Instagram post.
Before the show, Reese posed for pics backstage with her hair in rollers while wearing a bra and underwear set in Victoria’s Secret’s signature pink and white stripes.
“It feels amazing,” she said during the pre-show on Prime Video. “With my name also being Angel, I think it’s literally perfect. It was destined for me, I think this is already for me. So I’m just really happy to be sitting in this room with so many amazing modes, so many amazing models.”
Her prep, she said, was all business, just like her WNBA work.
“It’s the same — you trust your work,” she said. “I hired a modeling coach to perfect my walk. You can ask everybody here, I walked yesterday and it was together. I’m really happy and I’m excited.”
The Reebok athlete also gave a peek behind the scenes on social media.
“Good morning. Already cried my tears of joy,” Reese posted Wednesday, including a video of herself getting her makeup done. “My morning prayer. We are ready.”
Reese’s runway moment comes after a tumultuous end to her second WNBA season. She was suspended by the Sky for half a game in September following critical comments made about her teammates, remarks she later tried to walk back.
In addition to the Juicy Couture ambassador, Olympic gymnast Lee — who won her second gold medal last summer at the Paris Games — dazzled at the show.
Reese and Lee, 22, aren’t new to the modeling world, as the athletes have also graced the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
Reese, the WNBA’s leader in rebounds, made her SI Swim debut in 2023, while Lee first appeared in the magazine’s 2025 issue in May.
