Andy Cohen is dishing on one of his wildest dreams. On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, the Bravo boss revealed that he would “love” to have Taylor Swift on his hit talk show — despite his bromance with her famous ex-boyfriend, John Mayer.

During the “Ask Andy” segment on WWHL, a viewer asked Cohen if he would ever want to have the “Cardigan” songstress on the show given his close friendship with Mayer — who dated a then-19-year-old Swift when he was 32 more than a decade ago.

“I would love Taylor on the show, oh my God. That would be amazing,” Cohen said, per Page Six.

While there’s no bad blood between the host and Swift, he previously opened up about an awkward run-in they had at a Met Gala afterparty. Cohen — who said he has “a history of saying exactly the wrong things to people” — recalled the story to former People Magazine editor Jess Cagle in 2017 while promoting his book Superficial.

“I had seen Katy Perry, who was kind of in the corner. And then I’m standing there waiting for a drink at the bar. And Taylor Swift is walking by saying to her friend, ‘Where can we go stand? It’s so crowded here, and Lady Gaga is about to sing,'” he said. “And I turn to her — she wasn’t talking to me, but I inserted myself — and I said, ‘Your friend Katy is over there, and there’s no one sitting over there.'”

At the time, Swift was embroiled in a feud with Perry; the two have since reconciled. Because of that, the singer allegedly made it clear to Cohen that Perry was “the exact opposite of her friend” and asked that he refrain from mentioning their interaction on WWHL — but in “harsher words.”

“I said to her after, ‘Oh, my god. I am so stupid. I am so sorry,'” he said. “And I just thought, ‘Wow, she thinks I’m being shady.’ Which, why wouldn’t she think that? I’m a shady ass bitch, sometimes. I honestly wasn’t … Oh, and then I said to her, ‘Well, at least you know where not to sit.’ I thought it was a good recovery.”

Despite their cringey exchange, Cohen said Swift was “super nice” to him years later at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, where he “freaked out” over her win.

So who’s to say? Perhaps the two will be doing shot-skis in The Clubhouse together as soon as her sold-out Eras Tour finishes. As a Swiftie and a Bravoholic, I know I’m ready for it!
