Hell might have frozen over today because the ladies of The View actually defended (yes, defended) Lauren Boebert for getting handsy with her ex-husband after finalizing their divorce earlier this week.

While the Colorado Republican — who shares four kids with the ex she was recently caught smooching — is typically bashed on the hit daytime talk show, the co-hosts ended up taking her side on whether someone can be “that friendly” with someone they used to be married to.

“I was with my ex for 15 years and I never thought these words would come out my mouth, but I relate to Lauren Boebert here,” Ana Navarro said, before joking, “Somebody please bring me two Aspirin, I’m gonna lay down.”

Navarro continued, “I think that once it’s finally over and it’s signed with, you have that sense of closure but you also have other emotions.

“It’s bittersweet, there’s nostalgia, there’s 15, 17 years of lived experiences, there’s children, there’s so much that you had together,” she said. “Once the legal aspect is over, those things kind of come out.”

What’s even more shocking is that Sunny Hostin also jumped on the bandwagon and agreed with Navarro.

“I just think that she’s not someone I believe in politically, but 18 years of marriage is a really long time,” she said. “That’s a life built together and that’s a lot of chapters. I don’t want to celebrate the demise of anyone’s marriage. If he’s grabbing her butt — which is what he was doing — after their divorce, then more power to them.”

Meanwhile, Alyssa Farah Griffin offered a slightly different take as she pointed out the “chemistry” between the estranged couple.

“I’m going to root on the side of love and marriage. The good news is, she’s soon gonna have a lot of free time because her opponent is out-raising her 3:1 and she only won her congressional seat by 546 votes,” she said. “So I have a feeling she’s gonna be back in Colorado with a lot of free time, so maybe they can rekindle.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
