NextImg:An Amber Alert outed my cheating boyfriend — I’ll never take him back

An Amber Alert saved Nicole Christine’s life — but not in the traditional sense.

Prior to being startled by a blaring notification on her phone, indicating that the local authorities were on the hunt for a distressed minor, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based millennial was relaxing at home alone on Oct. 18, waiting for her live-in boyfriend to return from what she believed was a night out with his buds.

But when the brunette went to silence the alert on her honey’s Apple Watch, which he’d accidentally left behind, she was broadsided by an alarming discovery — he was cheating on her with another woman.

“As his watch was in my hand, I saw a text message pop up that read: ‘I miss you already,’” Christine, 30, a digital marketing executive, told The Post. “I was in shock and totally numb.”

Nicole Christine went viral on TikTok after revealing that she discovered her boyfriend’s unfaithfulness thanks to an Amber Alert.

“We’d been together for over a year and we were planning on getting married,” continued Christine, emphasizing the depth of relationship she shared with her now-ex, 31, whose name she withheld for privacy purposes.

The pair met via Hinge on April Fool’s Day in 2022. During their rocky romance — which saw the twosome repeatedly breakup and get back together — Christine’s erstwhile boo wooed her with lofty visions of a marriage proposal, a dazzling wedding and a beautiful home in which they’d raise a family.

“But in that moment,” she said, recalling how she stumbled upon the titillating text message, “the whole dream of us having a future together completely melted away.”

A crestfallen Christine shared the heartbreaking shocker to a stunned audience of over 2.3 million TikTok viewers, explaining that she’d ultimately learned her boyfriend had been in a “full on” relationship with the other woman — who the wannabe womanizer promised he was pursuing “for the long haul.”

Outraged online onlookers offered the betrayed belle some sound support.

“Be so grateful you got the alert,” a virtual comforter commented in part.

“The Apple Watch will always do it,” said a separate viewer.

“I’m always shocked at how anyone has the energy for two relationships. I can BARELY manage one,” another penned.

“I’m so sorry! This just happened to me. The universe stepped in just in time. Get tested and send him the invoice,” an overcomer advised.

Online, sympathizers commiserated with Christine, sharing details of their own breakup experiences.

Christine tells The Post she confronted her sus sweetie about the texts.

After initially denying any wrongdoing, the dunce ultimately confessed his unfaithfulness, saying that he wanted to “see other people” without losing her as a primary inamorata.

She moved out of their shared living space that night, telling her viewers: “I’ll never go back.”

Since last week, Christine has learned that her ex had secretly engaged in dalliances with at least five other women he’d met on Hinge.

She’s spent five hours talking with one of his paramours, comparing the timelines of their partnerships with the bed-hopping bozo to discover that their relationships were nearly identical.

Her harrowing experience is similar to that of an online dater named Crystal Tushinsky, 38, from the West Village, one of the many women to be romantically bamboozled by a New York-based Tinder predator known as “Long Island Kevin.”

The tragedy, too, bares an eerie resemblance to the the terrorizing reign of “West Elm Caleb,” who used Hinge to prey on his unsuspecting would-be love interests throughout the Big Apple.

Christine hopes that her story spares other women the heartache she endured.

“Always trust how you feel, listen to your gut and be mindful of red flags,” she said.

“Be self-aware and attentive to how a person’s presence in your life is changing every aspect of who you are,” added Christine. “If that person is a detriment to your life — leave right away.

“I’ll never make that mistake again.”

Christine hopes her devastation inspires other women to make wise choices in relationships.

And while Christine concedes that her personal misfortune pales in comparison to an Amber Alert’s main purpose — rescuing a missing child — she feels the siren offered her a much-needed lifeline.

“Things can serve multiple purposes,” said Christine of the alarm. “I was so close to ruining my entire life with this guy.”

“The Amber Alert is a beautiful mechanism that saved me.”
