After Leann Rimes revealed she suffered a dental mishap during a recent performance, the ladies of The View looked back on some of their own embarrassing on-air moments during Thursday’s (June 26) broadcast. But Alyssa Farah Griffin’s awkward run-in with Jude Law really took the cake.
“I accidentally flashed my underwear to Jude Law backstage once,” Griffin revealed on The View.
The audience howled with laughter as she recounted the “brutal” encounter she had with the actor backstage of The View.
“My mic pack fell down my dress so at commercial I ran back,” she said, adding that the female audio techs are usually there to help her. “And I flashed my skirt up so she could help me move it and Jude Law is just standing there.”
Griffin continued, “And in my embarrassment he just says nothing and I go, ‘I’m sorry, sir.’ I made it worse by calling him sir! It was brutal.”
Each host then shared their own embarrassing moments, including the time when a stunt person dressed as Spider-Man failed to catch Sara Haines when she fainted on-camera, and the recent incident when Sunny Hostin “almost died on set.”

Hostin had unknowingly consumed walnuts in a dish prepared by former View host Debbie Matenopoulos during a recent segment.
“I’m deathly allergic to walnuts,” she said on The View as she looked back on that moment. “But guess what? The show must go on.”
Behar then tried to get out of sharing her own embarrassing moment from the show, but Hostin and Ana Navarro were sure to call her out for falling out of her chair recently. Behar ended the segment by asking The View executive producer Brian Teta, “Brian, how many times have you seen me in a brassiere? Be honest.”
But Teta promptly shut down her question without offering an answer. “We gotta go to commercial,” he replied.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
