Sara Haines might have been missing from The View today, but Alyssa Farah Griffin made sure to defend her in her absence — especially when Joy Behar suggested that she was post-menopausal.

At the top of this morning’s broadcast, longtime moderator Whoopi Goldberg explained why there were only four women at the Hot Topics table instead of the typical five.

“Sara is out today,” she said. “We’ll miss her. But she hopefully will be back in the next couple of days.”

Behar then offered up more details about Haines’ mysterious absence, telling the audience, “She didn’t feel good. But she was fine.”

The comedian then quipped, “I’d say PMS, but she’s over it,” prompting Goldberg to ask, “Remember those days?”

While everyone laughed at the joke, Griffin chimed in to defend Haines.

“She’s not over PMS, she’s like 42!” Griffin reminded her co-hosts. “I gotta stand up for my girl.”

Haines, who is actually 46, might not be going through menopause just yet, but her Monday and Friday co-host Ana Navarro sure is — and she never shies away from the topic.

In an April 2023 episode of The View, Navarro told the panel that she was “deep in the throes of menopause,” joking that because of that, she has to “take a shot” in order to have sex with her husband.

“I am deep into the throes of menopause. I’m having to take a shot to have sex with one person. I don’t know what I would have to ingest to have sex with two,” she said during an NSFW conversation about whether she would ever be involved in a threesome.

Navarro brought up menopause again during a December 2023 interview with Julia Roberts, who, along with Goldberg, called her out for making several sexual innuendos.

“I’m in menopause! What do you want from me?” Navarro told the duo, to which Goldberg fired back, “No, if you was in menopause, you wouldn’t be talking about this, but go ahead.”
