It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is back and The Gang is going places.

Season 17 kicks off with the highly-anticipated second part to the show’s crossover with another Philly-set sitcom, Abbott Elementary. While The Gang visited Abbott back in January with the episode “Volunteers,” viewers have only seen the Abbott half so far. That all changes tonight with the season premiere, “The Gang F***s Up Abbott Elementary,” where we’ll see the events through the R-rated Sunny lens.

Later in the season, they’ll go even further — all the way to the Bachelor Mansion. That’s right: Frank Reynolds (Danny DeVito) is the new Golden Bachelor and Jesse Palmer will even make an appearance as the host of the storied franchise.

'always sunny' season 17: what to know

DECIDER spoke to the stars and creators of the series ahead of tonight’s premiere, and creator/star Charlie Day had this to say about the upcoming slate of episodes: “I love this whole season, but you know we have one episode that has to do with Mac and Dennis becoming EMTs. Even though I’m excited for Golden Bachelor and excited for Abbott Elementary, I’m really excited for that EMT episode.”

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia comes back with two episodes tonight, July 9, at 9 p.m. ET on FXX.

New episodes will air on FXX every Wednesday at 9 p.m. through August 20.

The only way to watch It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia live if you don’t have cable is by using a live TV streaming service. We love DIRECTV, which has a five day free trial and a number of flexible subscription options starting at $59.99/month, many of which include FXX.

New episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will stream on Hulu at 3 a.m. ET on Thursdays, so you won’t be able to tune in to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia live with a basic Hulu subscription.

Season 17 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will have eight episodes rolling out weekly. See below for release dates:
