On Saturday (Sept. 30), Anne Heche made one last posthumous appearance on television as Corinne Cuthbert on the legal drama All Rise.
Saturday’s episode, entitled “Trouble Woman,” featured a tribute to Heche at the end of the episode that read as follows: “In memory of Anne Heche. Our friend and wonderful artist. You are missed.”
The actress died in August 2022 following a car crash that resulted in a brain injury and various burns; she was eventually put on life support, and later died at age 53. Heche is survived by her two sons, Homer Laffoon and James Tupper, per Entertainment Weekly.
Heche had appeared in five episodes of All Rise across both Seasons 2 and 3 prior to her appearance on Saturday, per IMDb. Her character was described by Deadline as “an infamous trial attorney who often is called upon by police unions to defend officers accused of violent crime” who is “wicked smart.”

According to EW, Heche’s final scenes as Corinne Cuthbert were filmed in June 2022, but a mid-season hiatus delayed the episode from being aired until now. This episode marked the third of the final ten episodes of the series. The show’s cancellation was announced in August, per Variety.
According to TV Insider, while this episode marked her final appearance on television, she is set to make a posthumous appearance in Wildfire: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse, an indie movie slated to hit theaters in November.
All Rise airs Saturdays at 9/8c on OWN.
