Even famous faces battle blemishes.
Alix Earle got candid about her skincare struggles this week, revealing on TikTok that she’s been getting her skin “back on track” after her most recent breakout.
“I’ve dealt with cystic acne my whole life,” she said. “I’m starting to see a lot of spots coming back up again … which, as someone who deals with really bad acne, when you get a bit it’s kind of scary.”
While she warned patience is key, her personal skincare routine starts with cleanser and spritzing on the Hydrinity Hyacyn Active — an “antibacterial purifying mist, which I love,” she told the camera.
She then reaches for the Medicube Age-R Booster Pro device, which she said is “good at exfoliating the top layer of skin” with its AirShot mode.
“Its like little tiny zaps; it kind of hurts, but in a good way,” said the star, who’s also posted videos using the K-beauty brand’s popular Zero Pore Pads. (She’s not the only one using the brand’s products; they’ve also been linked to Kylie Jenner and Kyle Richards in recent months.)

The social media phenom follows up the treatment with an application of Avène Cicalfate Restorative Protective Cream, a Hailey Bieber-approved formula she received from her dermatologist, Dr. Kiran Mian.

“If you have a healthy [skin] barrier, it’s able to not be so affected when there is a bacteria on your skin which can cause acne,” she explained.

As for Earle’s “most important suggestion?” Hero Mighty Patch Mini Invisible+ Patches, which she even layers under makeup during the day.
“Pimple patches have helped me so so much,” she raved.
Earle’s also been keeping it light with her makeup recently, as she prepares for her upcoming stint on “Dancing With the Stars.”
“I’m not gonna lie to you guys, I am really nervous about ‘DWTS,’ just having makeup on and sweating and dancing every day,” she said, promising to keep fans updated along the way.
