TikTok star Alix Earle spilled the tea about her relationship with Miami Dolphins receiver Braxton Berrios.
In the latest installment of her, “Hot Mess” podcast, titled “Tea of 2023,” the influencer explained why she feels more supported by Berrios than she did in her previous relationship with MLB player, Tyler Wade.
“Everything that I did he s–t on,” Earle, 23, said about Wade, whom she dated for three months in 2022. “He did not support me at all, especially when it came to social media stuff.
“So the fact that NFL man [Berrios] supports me and lets me edit a video on my phone without screaming at me is pretty nice to see.”
Earle did not name anyone she spoke about, and instead referred to Wade as “baseball boy” and Berrios as “NFL man,” which are the nicknames she gave them in previous TikTok videos.
Earle described her relationship with Wade as “toxic,” and recalled fighting over a multitude of things, which she said was one of the reasons they didn’t work out.
The 23-year-old influencer went on to break down the timeline of her relationship with Berrios, who she met at a Super Bowl party in Phoenix in February.
According to Earle, Berrios explained at the time that he was flying to Los Angeles that weekend to see his ex, Sophia Culpo, whom she did not name.
Earle said Berrios told her that he and Culpo split in January, and that he was going to see her for closure and because she was “upset” about his meeting with Earle.
Culpo confirmed her split with Berrios on social media in March due to “betray,” and that she heard Berrios cheated on her while at the Super Bowl.
“I honestly was like, that’s really cool that he told me that he’s being honest with me and can admit that and doesn’t have to go around some weird lie,” Earle said on her podcast.
“I think it was respectable to do, he left Super Bowl weekend to go talk to her because she was upset, I was like, ‘Good for you.'”
Earle recalled Berrios’ ex previously discussing the cheating allegations publicly.
“Maybe he was s—-y to her, I can’t speak on that, I don’t know,” Earle said. “He tells me it’s a lie, but what am I supposed to say?
“Honestly, sometimes I believe the girls.”
Earle explained that 2023 was the “best year” of her life.
“Another goal I have for 2024 is having a healthy relationship,” she said. “I do have a healthy relationship right now and I’ve been working on myself in relationships because I struggle sometimes to show and share emotion.
“I really do appreciate NFL man, and he is the best and is so respectful of me and I’m trying to be my best self.”
Earle added that she and Berrios have great communication.
“Something we’ve really been good, at which I want to keep up in the New Year, is just talking,” Earle said. “I don’t think we’ve ever had a fight about anything, but we talk through everything fully.”
