Alex Rodriguez is one proud dad.

The former MLB star, 47, shared an emotional post on Instagram over the weekend, celebrating 18-year-old daughter Natasha Rodriguez’s high school graduation.

“Yesterday was bittersweet. Tashi, I can’t make time stand still, so my wish for you is to go out in the world with confidence, knowing your worth and believing in yourself,” he captioned the post.

“As you move on from one chapter to the next, I’m most proud of who you are as a person,” he continued. “Honest, kind, compassionate, intuitive and wise beyond your years.”

Alex wrote that Natasha’s special day was “bittersweet.”

Alex concluded the post by stating that as Natasha’s father, he’s supposed to be her role model.

“But for the last 18 years, you’ve been mine,” he gushed. “Proud of you always! Love, Daddy ????.”

Natasha sweetly took to the comments section to praise her dad for the support, writing, “Thank you Daddy ????.”

The photos from Natasha’s high school graduation celebrations included Alex happily posing with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, and their younger daughter, 15-year-old Ella Rodriguez. They were also joined by Scurtis’ current husband, Angel Nicolas.

As previously reported, Natasha announced back in April that she would be attending the University of Michigan to study musical theatre.

“I still can’t believe this is a real opportunity I’ve been given, and it’s an absolute dream come true,” Natasha shared on Instagram at the time.

“Can’t believe she’s about to graduate and head off to college. I’ve got all the emotions. For now, GO BLUE!! ????,” her dad commented.

The former Yankees star married Scurtis in 2002 after meeting in a Miami gym.

She filed for divorce in 2008 citing the “emotional abandonment” of their daughters, as well as infidelity, as the reasons for the dissolution of their marriage.

Despite them at one point battling over child support payments, Alex clearly has an amicable relationship with his ex-wife.

In 2002 he wrote a heartfelt tribute to his ex in honor of her birthday.

“Today I am celebrating someone very special in my life,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Someone who continues to make a difference in my daughters’ lives every day and has my eternal respect and admiration. A very happy birthday to you, Cynthia!! ????”

Family life aside, Alex has also been making headlines for his dating life.

“Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy recently alleged that she believed the athlete was “clearly” looking for a “side chick” when he reportedly slid into her DMs while engaged to Jennifer Lopez. Since breaking things off with Alex, Lopez, 53, has since moved on with Ben Affleck.
