


Alabama’s upset of rival Georgia has activated the chaos scenario for the College Football Playoff.
The No. 8 Crimson Tide upset previously unbeaten and No. 1 Georgia 27-24 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday to leave the selection committee with a difficult choice for the four teams that get to play for the national championship.
No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 and Pac 12 champion Washington and No. 4 Florida State remain unbeaten.
The Wolverines will still need to play No. 18 Iowa in the Big 10 title game and Florida State faces No. 14 Lousiville for the ACC crown on Saturday night.
