Al Horford’s younger sister, Anna Horford, doesn’t seem pleased with NBA Twitter.
Anna, who’s known for her outspoken tweets in support of the Celtics veteran, appeared to call out the double standard between men and women who support their siblings in professional sports.
On Tuesday, Anna reposted a video on Twitter that showed Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic celebrating with his older brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja, after the Nuggets defeated the Heat in Game 5 to win the NBA Finals.
“Huh… I don’t see anyone calling them clout chasing sluts for publicly supporting their brother… Funny how that works,” Anna wrote.
The tweet has over 2.5 million views as of Wednesday.
Anna hit back in the comments under her post, telling one user: “Stop trying to slut shame women, bro.”
In a separate tweet, Anna added, “God, the women-shaming gremlins on this app are f–king insufferable.”
Anna’s messages didn’t appear to intentionally shade the Jokic family, as she reposted encouraging messages about the two-time MVP and 2023 Finals MVP.
In February, Anna made headlines over a deleted tweet about LeBron James’ viral tantrum during the Lakers-Celtics game in January.
James flipped out when a foul wasn’t called on his missed game-winning layup — and the contest went into overtime with the Celtics defeating the Lakers, 125-121.
The referees later confirmed that they missed the call.
