Nearly three years to the day after CM Punk took a blowtorch to the All Out media scrum and brawled with the Elite backstage, the “Voice of the Voiceless” was standing outside a WWE ring as his wife, AJ Lee, was returning to wrestling after 10 years.

We have seen the angry side of Punk plenty, from his entire first WWE run, the Pipe Bomb, after All Out, and his backstage confrontation with Jake Perry at All In 2023, which led to his firing from AEW with cause. 

The CM Punk from the moment Lee’s music hit until the social media cameras stopped rolling was unlike anything we’ve seen from him on screen in wrestling.
