A bathtub may seem like an ordinary home feature — but this one is really making a splash online.
Los Angeles real estate agent Enes Yilmazer has set the internet ablaze with a TikTok video garnering more than 5.5 million views, unveiling an otherworldly floating tub.
“This is the craziest tub I’ve ever seen in my life. It is literally floating, and in a second, I’m gonna show you how it works,” Yilmazer, who didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment, says in the viral clip.
Detailing the marvel, he says, “First, let’s cover the details. It’s made out of carbon fiber. It is mounted to the ceiling with these steel rods, so it looks like a hammock.” And, indeed, it does. The clip shows a curvy tub that resembles a hammock stretched between two trees.
The innovative tub features a filler and valves, seamlessly integrated into its design.
Yilmazer demonstrated its functionality, showcasing how it fills and empties with ease at the touch of a button.
“Now in order to drain it, you just hit the drain and it goes down into the floor,” he demonstrated, with water cascading down into a bed of white pebbles.
“Seriously, craziest tub I’ve ever seen in my life,” Yilmazer reiterated.
However, despite the awe the tub inspired, the comments section saw a flurry of skepticism and jest.
“When you have more money than sense,” quipped one commenter.
“Is this a tub for ants? What are you supposed to do here — be cold?” joked another, noting its seemingly shallow depth.
“Most inconvenient tub. Imagine trying to adjust the temperature mid-bath,” remarked a skeptical viewer.
The price of the tub is unknown.
