Adrian Peterson got into a wild fistfight over a poker game gone wrong.

The former NFL superstar was seen on video, obtained by TMZ Sports, exchanging blows with another player.

Other players tried to separate them but were unsuccessful as Peterson, 40, and the other player shouted at each other while letting punches fly.

The incident occurred on May 27 at JokerStars in Houston, per TMZ Sports.

It stemmed from a dispute over a hand, the report added.

“Me and the guy, we’re cool,” Peterson told the outlet, saying alcohol was involved. “We’ve known each other. It was literally like a brother situation. We agreed to disagree, we had our words, and we threw blows — and that was it.”

Peterson and the other player made up after the fight, he said.

“I felt really bad,” Peterson said. “It’s a situation where I kind of regret it.”

Police were not involved, according to the report.

Peterson had a bloodied face after the fight, but Peterson told TMZ Sports that he sustained the injury after he fell into a chair — not from a punch.

Peterson, who starred the first 10 years of his career for the Vikings before stints with the Rams, Cardinals, Washington, Lions, Titans and Seahawks, hasn’t played since 2021.

He led the league in rushing three times and recorded 14,918 rushing touchdowns along with 120 rushing touchdowns in his career.

He’s recently taken up celebrity boxing, a fitting endeavor given his fight.

Peterson fought and lost to fellow former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell in 2022 and was brutally knocked out.

He fared a bit better in this recent fight.

The outlet spotted Peterson back at JokerStars on Thursday.
