Mister Aaron Rodgers is back in his neighborhood.
The Jets quarterback arrived at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon ahead of Gang Green’s primetime showdown against the Chiefs, weeks after he suffered a devasting Achilles injury in September’s season opener.
Dressed in a white T-shirt, light-wash jeans and sneakers, Rodgers was seen riding through MetLife in a golf cart with his crutches in hand, according to a video posted to X (formerly Twitter) by the Jets’ account.
Leading up to the Jets’ highly anticipated showdown against the defending Super Bowl champions, Rodgers spoke to his teammates at their hotel Saturday, according to The Post’s Brian Costello.
The Jets, who are moving forward with struggling third-year quarterback Zach Wilson, enter the contest as an 8.5-point underdog.
Wilson was expected to learn under Rodgers this season before the four-time NFL MVP ruptured his Achilles tendon just four plays into his Jets career.
Perhaps Rodgers’ — and Taylor Swift’s — presence Sunday night can make sparks fly for the Jets.
