NextImg:Aaron Rodgers next team odds: Rams emerge as unlikely co-favorite to land former Jets QB

An unexpected team is gaining steam to be Aaron Rodgers’ next NFL destination.

With questions looming over Matthew Stafford’s future, the Rams are now one of three co-favorites to land the former Jets quarterback.

DraftKings Sportsbook has the Rams on-par with the Raiders and Steelers, who both also appear to be in the market for a new name under center in 2025, at +300 to bring in Rodgers.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay watches against the Minnesota Vikings during the first half of an NFL wild card playoff football game, Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, in Glendale, Ariz. AP

The Colts and Titans, both teams featuring young QBs on their roster who could use a veteran to learn from, are in the mix, rounding out the top-five on DraftKings’ odds board.

The Vikings, who face a decision on free agent Sam Darnold with 2024 No. 10 overall pick J.J. McCarthy on their roster, are also a long shot for Rodgers.

The 49ers are seemingly the most shocking team high up on the odds board.

San Francisco is expected to enter contract extension talks with Brock Purdy this offseason, and it could pivot to Rodgers should those negotiations go sideways.

But the biggest story of the latest odds update is Sean McVay and Co.

The Rams went from 10/1 to +300, indicating that a new era in Los Angeles could be nearing.

The franchise is reportedly “tiring” of Stafford and his wife, Kelly, and star wide receiver Cooper Kupp has already gone public saying the team is looking to trade him.
