NextImg:Aaron Rodgers makes surprise appearance at Rangers-Devils Game 6

First Aaron Judge and now Aaron Rodgers.

The newly minted Jets quarterback attended Game 6 of the Rangers-Devils first-round Eastern Conference playoff series Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.

Rodgers, who many thought had a strong introductory press conference Wednesday, received a loud ovation and mouthed what appeared to be “let’s go” to the fans in attendance.

Last Saturday, Judge — with his wife Samantha Bracksiek, Anthony Volpe and Harrison Bader — attended the Rangers’ 2-1 Game 3 loss at the Garden.

It appears Rodgers has brought the Blueshirts more luck than Judge did. The Rangers, who are trying to force a Game 7 in New Jersey on Monday, hold a 5-1 lead in the third period of Game 6.

Rodgers, who will be wearing No. 8 with Gang Green, didn’t try to play down expectation when he was introduced as the Jets quarterback.

“I’m an old guy so I want to be part of a team that can win it all,” Rodgers said Wednesday at the press conference in Florham Park. “I believe this is a place we can get that done.”

The Jets last went to a Super Bowl following the 1968 season when Joe Namath guaranteed the win over the Colts in the Orange Bowl, and then delivered.

Rodgers was also keenly aware of the plight of Jets fans and their long-suffer history.

“I grew up watching old VHS tapes of the Super Bowls,” said Rodgers, who was flanked by coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas. “So, obviously I know about the guarantee and Broadway Joe. It’s been a while since then. I noticed walking in this morning that that Super Bowl III trophy is looking a little lonely.”
