Aaron Rodgers was a spectator at Jets practice Tuesday, the first one open to the media since the team traded for him last month.

Rodgers went through warmups but appeared to tweak something.

He did not take part in any of the drills.

Rodgers remained on the field, watching the quarterbacks and then the offense.

He chatted with assistant coaches but did not even have a helmet with him.

Rodgers, 39, appeared to be favoring one leg but it was unclear what he actually did.

With Rodgers out, Zach Wilson took the first-team reps.

The Jets began OTA practices on Monday.

Rodgers has been a participant in the voluntary portion of the Jets offseason program and drew praise from coach Robert Saleh in the morning.
