Aaron Judge has begun running on an anti-gravitational treadmill, Aaron Boone said Thursday.
The manager estimated Judge’s running at about 80 percent.
It adds to the list of physical activities the Yankees slugger is doing in his comeback from the sprained right big toe that’s sidelined Judge for over a month.
The Yankees remain confident Judge will return at some point in the second half.
He’s been playing catch on the field and doing light hitting off a tee, as well as hard toss.
While Judge and the Yankees have declined to make a timeline for his potential return public, sources within the organization insist the rehab is going according to schedule.
The Yankees outfield took another hit on Wednesday night, when Jake Bauers injured his shoulder making a diving attempt at a line drive.

Bauers is scheduled to get an MRI exam Thursday, according to Boone.
He’s the latest outfielder to go down with an injury, with Willie Calhoun still on the IL with a quad strain and Billy McKinney back in the lineup after being unavailable due to a toe injury.
