Aaron Judge’s home run drought is over — and the Yankees’ pennant drought doesn’t seem far behind.

The major league’s leader in home runs finally went deep in Tuesday night’s 6-3 win over the Guardians in Game 2 of the ALCS at Yankee Stadium, giving Judge his first home run in his past 10 postseason games — and first since Sept. 26 — as the Yankees moved closer to claiming their first pennant in 15 years.

Only two teams in the past two decades have blown a 2-0 series lead in the LCS or World Series. No team has blown a 2-0 series lead in the ALCS since the Yankees’ unprecedented 3-0 meltdown against the Red Sox in 2004.

Another collapse could happen if Judge’s postseason struggles continue, but the soon-to-be two-time MVP may have changed the trajectory of his playoff legacy with one swing.
