NextImg:90-year-old grandmother reveals her biggest life regrets

A plucky 90-year-old grandmother has revealed her biggest life regrets in a viral TikTok video – and it might surprise you.

The video, which has been viewed 70,000 times, offers some profound advice to the next generation.

The nanna told her granddaughter Rachel Dillon that she regrets marrying so young and wished she had spent more time working and “mixing with people.”

“I do regret marrying too young, I met my husband when I was 13 and he was 15 and we got married at 17 and 19,” she said.

She admitted to be being “very outward I suppose, I am not very shy, I have always liked men.”

“I met him at the library he used to take me for a ride when I was going to the library,” she said.

Surprisingly, the granny said she would have been quite happy not to have turned 90.

“I didn’t really want to get to 90,” she said.

“I’ve had enough. I’ve had all I wanted from the world. I am quite happy to go and meet my little puppy dog waiting there for me.”

As for any direct advice?

She doesn’t have any: “Not the way the world is going. I don’t want to be part of anything that I can see going on.”

TikTok users commended the grandmother on her looks.

“She looks absolutely amazing,” one wrote.

“This is so precious. She looks incredible,” wrote another.

Others commented on her sense of humor and frank advice.

“What a national treasure … so authentic and real,” one person commented.

“She still has her vitality at 90, she’s not elderly yet, good on her,” another commented.
