


A straphanger was struck by a 7 train in Times Square just after rush hour at the busy transit hub Tuesday evening.
A 63-year-old man was hit by an oncoming 7 train inside the 42nd Street-Times Square station a few minutes before 7 p.m., police said.
He was removed from the tracks by first responders, who brought him out of the station on a stretcher, according to cops and an eyewitness video postedhttps://twitter.com/anunnamedpoet/status/1701747121882276051 to social media.
The man had bandages wrapped around his head and was wearing a neck brace, the clip shows.
He was brought into a waiting ambulance and transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.
No criminality is suspected, an NYPD spokesperson said.
The man is believed to have jumped in front of the train, police sources said.
As emergency crews responded to the incident, 7 trains were delayed in both directions and skipped stops between 34th Street-Hudson Yards and Hunters Point Avenue.
