NextImg:2025 Wimbledon Final: Amanda Anisimova vs. Iga Swiatek odds, prediction

It took Iga Swiatek several years, but it’s safe to say that the five-time Grand Slam champion has figured out how to leverage her all-world skillset on the grass at Wimbledon.

Swiatek was known as the WTA’s most dominant force on clay for the last half-decade, but she could never quite carry her form from Roland Garros over to Wimbledon.

The 24-year-old had made it to the quarterfinals just once in her first five trips to the All England Club, and she had never won a title in a grass-court event.

This year has been a different story. Swiatek is 9-1 on the lawn in 2025 and has lost just three sets in that span, including just one during her run to the Wimbledon Final.

Swiatek demolished Belinda Bencic, 6-2, 6-0, in the semifinals on Thursday.

Amanda Anisimova’s run to the Final has not been as dominant. Still, she’s answered any question put before her during the last two weeks, and her three-set win over Aryna Sabalenka in Thursday’s semifinal was one of the most impressive performances of her career.

But what worked for Anisimova against Sabalenka, answering power with power, won’t translate in this match. Swiatek, especially in her current form, is an incredible mover and will be able to put plenty of pressure on Anisimova’s serve.

Swiatek’s ability to absorb power and return big serves will turn this into more of a chess match, and that’s bad news for the American, who is playing in her first Grand Slam Final.

Anisimova has been terrific throughout this tournament and has put the tennis world on notice that she is ready to make good on the promise she showed early in her career, but the stylistic matchup make this a really tricky encounter.
