The 2025 Masters gets underway on Thursday, April 10, at Augusta National Golf Course in Georgia.
Defending champion Scottie Scheffler is the consensus betting favorite at +450, with Rory McIlroy right behind him at +650.
McIlroy, not Scheffler, is the trendiest bet at Augusta this year.
The Masters has been chalky in recent years, with Scheffler winning twice in three years, including last April as the outright favorite, and Jon Rahm taking home top honors at 10/1 in 2023.
Five of the last six winners at Augusta went off as one of the top-five favorites before Round 1.
Will we see another heavyweight don the green jacket this Sunday? Or will a long shot crash the party on Magnolia Lane?
Below are our favorite picks from across the different ranges on the betting board.
If you’re looking for the best value among the top 10 favorites, Collin Morikawa is your guy.
The American is getting the fanfare that McIlroy or Scheffler are receiving, but he’s should be just as dangerous and he’s being offered at triple the odds.
Morikawa has two runner-ups and three top-10 finishes in five starts in 2025, and he has yet to finish outside the top-20 at any event this year.
The two-time major champion has three straight top-10 finishes at Augusta National, and landed on the podium with a T3 performance last April.

The secret is out on Robert MacIntyre, but he’s still being offered at a terrific price.
The Scottish lefty impressed with a T12 finish on debut in 2021 and then backed that up with a top-25 finish the following year.
MacIntyre hasn’t qualified since then, but that shouldn’t deter you from backing him with a bet or in your pools since his game clearly translates well to the unique challenges that Augusta presents.
MacIntyre’s in good form with a T6, T11, and ninth-place finish in his last four outings on the PGA Tour, all of which came at challenging events.

It’s never been a question of talent with Daniel Berger.
The Florida native was considered one of golf’s young guns not too long ago, but back injuries put him on the sidelines for the better part of the last three years.
Berger is now fit, firing, and in good form.
The Florida State Seminole was a runner-up at the Waste Management in February, starting a streak of six made cuts with four top-20 finishes in that span.
Berger is unlikely to win the Masters, but he’s someone to consider in pools, DFS, and with a small long-shot punt.
Best bomb: Nick Taylor (275/1, Caesars)
When you get to this part of the betting board, you are looking for small hints or signs that a player could, if everything goes his way, stick around on the leaderboard.
For Nick Taylor, those signals are in his ability to close out tournaments and play his best golf at the biggest moments.
The Canadian is a five-time winner on the PGA Tour, with three of them coming via playoff.
The big lights don’t seem to bother Taylor, as he’s collected signature wins at the 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open and the 2023 Canadian Open.
