NextImg:2025 Heisman Trophy odds update, pick: Jaxson Dart a contender

We’re in the final stretch of the college football regular season, and the Heisman race continues to crystallize, especially in the betting markets.

In this weekly article, I assess the current betting odds for the Heisman Trophy, analyze the frontrunners for the award and attempt to find value on the board.

This week, Cam Ward has re-established himself atop the Heisman odds board, while Jaxson Dart has snuck into the mix.

Here are the latest Week 11 Heisman Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook.

Miami quarterback Came Ward had another dominant showing against Duke last week, completing 25-of-41 passes for 400 yards and five touchdowns. Miami trailed 21-17 at halftime, but Ward threw four touchdowns in the second half as the Hurricanes stormed back for a dominant win.

The runway is clear for Miami to reach the ACC Championship, as it’s now priced at -195 to win the conference.

Ward leads the country with 29 passing touchdowns and ranks second with 3,146 yards. Games against Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and Syracuse won’t present opportunities for high-profile wins. Still, an undefeated regular season with those passing numbers will be impossible for voters to ignore.

Up next: Miami is favored by 11.5 points on the road against Georgia Tech

Colorado is coming off its bye week, which should provide do-it-all phenom Travis Hunter with an opportunity to get healthy after dealing with lingering issues earlier this year.

The Buffaloes have exceeded expectations this season, and Iowa State’s loss to Texas Tech last week opens the door for a potential trip to the Big 12 Championship game.

Hunter has accounted for 757 receiving yards, eight touchdowns, 20 tackles, seven pass breakups and two interceptions this season.

In a tough road environment against Michigan, Dillon Gabriel had another impressive outing with 294 passing yards and two total touchdowns.

Gabriel ranks sixth in the country with 2,665 passing yards this season, and the preseason Heisman favorite has led the Ducks to an undefeated record.

He may need to do it without wide receiver Tez Johnson for the rest of the year after he suffered a shoulder injury, but two of the team’s final three games are at Autzen Stadium, and they’ll be heavily favored in all three games.

Up next: Oregon hosts Maryland as a 24.5-point favorite

Last Friday, San Diego State sold out to stop Ashton Jeanty, and he still finished with 31 carries for 149 yards and two touchdowns.

Jeanty is still on pace to break Barry Sanders’ rushing record, and he looks poised to lead Boise State to an 11-1 regular season and the Group of Five bid in the College Football Playoff.

I couldn’t make an argument for a Jeanty Heisman bet when he was the favorite, but at 5-1 odds, I’m more inclined to take a stab.

It’s still difficult to see a Group of Five running back winning the award, but he’s been otherworldly this season.

Up next: Boise State hosts Nevada as a 25.5-point favorite

Perhaps the most intriguing name on this list, Jaxson Dart leads the nation with 3,210 passing yards and has a tremendous opportunity ahead of him this week as Ole Miss hosts Georgia.

Before the season, power ratings had Georgia priced as a double-digit road favorite, but this game now figures to be much closer.

Dart still probably can’t overtake the top names on this list, given that Ole Miss’ best-case scenario is a 10-2 record, but a win this week would shorten these odds.
